David Moyes has been sacked as manager of Manchester United after just 10months in charge.

Moyes was chosen by Sir Alex Ferguson to succeed him after Ferguson announced his retirement last year.

Moyes has struggled to get the best out of Manchester United players, leading to 11 Premier League defeats for the champions.

United lost 2-0 to Moyes old club Everton over the weekend, prompting Sunday newspapers to speculate on his future.

United are 13 points adrift of the top four, and will miss out on Champions League football next season.

It’s expected United legend, yan Giggs, who is part of the coaching team, take charge of the team until the end of the season.
