Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa was left ruing missed opportunities, and two costly mistakes in two minutes, as he saw his team lose 2-1 to former employers, Orlando Pirates.

The Urban Warriors enjoyed the bulk of the goal-scoring opportunities at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday night. But it took two moments of inspiration from Tendai Ndoro - in the 36th and 38th minutes, to win the match for the Buccaneers.

“It was about five minutes of madness there for us. That cost us. They are a good team with good players. If you give them a chance they'll take advantage of it,” said De Sa.

“We were better than them. We definitely had more chances on goal. We have to learn from that and take those chances. That was the difference. That bit of extra quality in the final third.

“We had them on the ropes in the last 15 minutes. They were just holding on. But they did the job and got three points, and we have to learn from it.”
