Durban – Roger Palmgren has been sacked as coach of AmaZulu, the club confirmed on Monday.
The Swede took charge at Usuthu last year and was dismissed after a woeful season so far, which sees the club sit bottom of the Premiership log after 12 fixtures.
“We met with the coach this morning (Monday) and advised him that his services have been terminated with immediate effect and informed the players and the technical team of what has happened,” general manager Peter O’Connor said.
Assistant Fani Madida has been placed in temporary charge. – Sapa
