Soweto Giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will again square off in a one-off match in the Carling Black Label Cup at FNB Stadium on July 28.

The announcement for the game was made in Johannesburg on Monday, following the success of the inaugural match in 2011.

The format allows fans to vote for their preferred starting line-ups as well as being able to make live substitutions during the match. The theme of the event is termed “Be the Coach”.

The Buccaneers won last year's match in a penalty shootout.

“Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are the embodiment of football in this country,” said Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza.

“We do things differently which keeps us relevant in football.” – Sapa
