Durban - Durban side Golden Arrows have added six new players to their squad as the club looks to strengthen its team for the 2016/ 2017 season.

Abafana bes'Thende announced on their website that they have signed Vuyani Ntanga, Lerato Lamola, Wayde Jooste, Limbikani Mzava, Cliffton Miheso and Lee Langeveldt.

Arrows issued the following statement: “Arrows are happy to announce their new signings for the 2016/2017 season. Vuyani Ntanga and Lerato Lamola join the side in a swop deal with Bloemfontein Celtic for Deon Hotto. Vuyani Ntanga makes the move after being at Bloemfontein Celtic since 2012.

“He previously played for Digagabi FC and Celtic Colts before plying his trade at Bloem Celtic.” Arrows say Lerato Lamola also joins them after a three- season spell at Bloemfontein Celtic, after previously playing for Roses United.

He has an impressive record in front of goals, both scoring and assisting. Both players are familiar with Clinton Larsen and have played under him while he was at their former club.

This should make their transition into the team easier, as they are used to the playing ideas and style of the coach. Another player who joins them from Bloemfontein Celtic is Wayde Jooste.

A product of the Celtic Academy, he has proved himself to be a strong midfielder in the PSL over the last season, but has not had the game time he would have liked staring only nine of the teams games.

Joining the defensive outfit is Limbikani Mzava. The Malawian player who has been capped a number of times for his national side, has played in the PSL for both Bloemfontein Celtic and in the last season for Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Other players joining the Team are Cliffton Miheso and Lee Langeveldt Cliffton Miheso hails from Kenya, where he played for AFC Leopards as well as the Kenyan International side.

In the past he has played for Thika Utd, Sofapaka and VPS as well. The winger has had a whirlwind career so far and exposure to the South African PSL will be a great platform for him to grow as a player.

Langeveldt joins the goal keeping department at the club. The player has great experience, and is a product of the former football school of South Africa.

He started his senior career with FC Fortune who then sent him to FC Copenhagen's second team Kjobenhavns Boldklub. In 2007 he returned to South Africa, where he has played for Santos and Milano.
