Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs fans had some good news on Friday when it was revealed that captain Siphiwe Tshabalala will return to full training in three weeks.

'Shabba' underwent surgery to the knee but left-footer is presently involved in light training, according to the club's doctors. Meanwhile Camaldine Abraw is scheduled to have a knee operation later this month. Abraw is expected to be out of action for six to nine months. The medical team also confirmed that new signing Keagan Buchanan is recovering from his knee injury and is progressing well. The midfielder is expected back in full training in October. The Amakhosi are currently in a pre-season camp and are expected to return home in the next week. - African News Agency (ANA)
