Paris - Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc insisted Thursday he will not be dragged into mind games with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho ahead of their Champions League duel.

Mourinho has proved a master of psyching out opponents during his career but Blanc will concentrate on matters on the pitch when they meet in Paris in the first leg of their quarter-final on Wednesday.

“I will not get involved in that game. I am just focused on the match against Nice on Friday,” said Blanc.

“Mourinho will talk and comment, that's the way he works.”

Blanc says he has the utmost respect for former Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss Mourinho for all he has achieved.

“I know him very well. We all know him and the the way he operates,” he said.

“I was coached by him (when Mourinho was Bobby Robson's assistant coach at Barcelona in 1996/1997).

“He was always smart, very professional. I have a lot of respect for him. He's a great coach. He has won everything. Nobody can say anything against that.”
