Former world number one Rafael Nadal climbed back into third place in the latest ATP Rankings thanks to his Argentine Open win, while Novak Djokovic remains on top of the pile.

In Buenos Aires on Sunday, the Spanish superstar ended a title drought that stretched all the way back to his ninth French Open title at Roland Garros last June.

Japan's Kei Nishikori, 25, rose to a career-best fourth and is just fast 260 ranking points adrift of Nadal.

Nishikori leapfrogs Britain's Andy Murray, who suffered a shock defeat in Dubai to teenage sensation Borna Coric of Croatia and drops two places.

Serbia's Djokovic remains in first place despite losing to second-ranked Switzerland's Roger Federer in the final of the Dubai Open on Saturday.
