Berlin (dpa) - Serena Williams maintained a clear lead at the top of the WTA tennis rankings released Monday following her all-American final win over Madison Keys to claim the Rome Masters for a fourth time on Sunday.

Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska moved back to second, swapping places with Germany's Australian Open winner Angelique Kerber.

Italy's Flavia Pennetta advanced three places to enter the top 10 in 10th place, while Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky, who entered the leading 10 last week, gained a place to ninth.
