Berlin – French and US Open champion Serena Williams continued to lead the way in the latest women's tennis rankings issued on Monday by the WTA.

The American Williams has 12,260 points for a big advantage over Victoria Azarenka of Belarus (9,505), with Russia's Maria Sharapova (7,866) following in an unchanged top 10.
