Venus levels Hopman Cup tie for U.S.

Perth, Australia – Venus Williams came from a set and 4-1 down to overcome Mathilde Johansson of France 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 at the Hopman Cup and even the United States-France tie at 1-1 on Tuesday.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga had earlier made a perfect start to the year, beating American John Isner 6-3, 6-2 in just 55 minutes.
