Masterchef SA Season 3 winner Roxi Wardman is soon to open a patisserie and coffee shop called Spoonful Eatery in Durban. She is keeping the location quiet for now.

“We have decided to have some fun and run a Facebook competition where people can guess the location of my place until we launch in the second week of June,” said Wardman.

“It will be a very relaxed place and you can come and sit and enjoy cakes and cupcakes. But be warned if you are on a diet, this is a place to treat yourself,” she added.

Wardman recently got engaged to her boyfriend Byron Maclou, and said she would be in charge of making her own wedding cake.

Masekwameng said that with three MasterChef winners all from Durban, it proved that people there know their flavours.

Deena Naidoo, Kamini Pather and Wardman are from Durban. While another MasterChef SA is planned for this year, Masekwameng is developing new recipes and conducting cooking demonstrations.
