Pikitup is conducting a door-to-door asset verification survey to improve service delivery and ascertain backlogs, for both residential and business customers.
The verification process started on February 4 and is estimated to be completed by the end of April.
It will target all commercial and domestic customers using 85, 120 and 240 litre bins and will include door-to-door visits, as well as questionnaires for customers to complete. Responses can be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, faxed to 086 501 0438 or handed in at any of the city’s customer walk-in centres.
The process will be carried out by Pikitup staff – all easily and clearly identifiable through official Pikitup uniforms and identification.
