Fashionistas endorse Holland’s sneakers

Henry Holland has designed a quirky new range of sneakers for Superga.

Is Superga officially the coolest sneaker brand in the world? Well, the fashion pack seem to think so.

The Italian label beloved of everyone from Sienna Miller to Liv Tyler has spawned some über stylish collaborations as well from the Olsen sisters to Alexa Chung.

Chung turned creative director for the label earlier this year, styling and starring in the SS12 campaign shot in Miami by Guy Aroche.

But now it's the turn of Brit Boy Henry Holland who has created a new souped-up collection in his own inimitable style.

House of Holland per Superga features eye-catching looks across the label's classic, hightop and flatform lines. Expect a riot of pastel polka and leopard prints that take their cue from the designer's Pastel Punks SS12 collection.

However, there are also some (slightly) more subdued versions – this is House of Holland after all – in black and white with Holland emblazoned across the soles.

Holland, who describes the range as the “perfect embodiment of Superga distinct style with a House of Holland twist”, has been keen to explore the footwear market for some time.

He's certainly making a stylish debut. – Daily Mail
