Mugabe’s motorcade deadly again

HARARE: One person has been killed and 15 have been injured by President Robert Mugabe’s motorcade.

This is the third such accident involving his motorcade in two weeks, police said yesterday.

But they blamed the Sunday accident on a commuter bus that they said did not make way fast enough for the passing motorcade.

Mugabe travels with an escort of about 10 vehicles, including the presidential limousine, motorcycles and army vehicles. – Sapa-AFP
