It wasn’t even on the programme but it was the hit of the evening. Violinist Lukas Kmit didn’t turn a hair when interrupted by the bugbear of all stage artists: the ringing of a cellphone among the audience while he was giving a solo performance at a London synagogue.
Instead of throwing a tantrum, the Slovakian musician merely paused for a moment then struck up an improvised version of the phone’s jingle.
The audience loved it, and put their hands together to prove it. And a video of the episode has been a huge hit on the internet. How about sharing it with television viewers too?
