Four men accused of robbing a jewellery store and wounding three people, including a toddler, appeared briefly in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Levert Ndou, Thulane Madondo, Ian Mncube and Thabo Dlamini will be back in court on July 20. They face charges of attempted murder, possession of stolen property, possession of an unlicensed firearm, reckless and negligent driving and armed robbery.
They allegedly held staff and customers at gunpoint at a jewellery store at Randridge Mall and opened fire as they ran away, wounding three people including a police officer, before being caught. – Sapa
