In almost Biblical fashion, with a come-uppance especially reserved for notorious characters, South Africans will “lay to rest” one of it’s most flamboyant personalities.
Mostly a victim of his own making, Julius Malema will be remembered as the man who raised President Jacob Zuma in Polokwane, deposed former president Thabo Mbeki, then tried to undo both by switching allegiances.
Meddling in Botswana, personal attacks on the president and now the subject of an investigation into, alleged tender fraud. These could be the last we hear of Malema.
