School governing bodies appealed for calm yesterday while investigations into the Limpopo textbook saga continued.
“We as the National Congress of School Governing Bodies will pronounce ourselves on the issue after the report has been released,” said spokesman Monokoane Hlobo.

“We also urge the department to develop and fund a catch-up programme in Limpopo.”
On Monday, President Jacob Zuma received a preliminary report from the task team that investigated the late delivery of textbooks in the province. –
