Pop sensation Justin Bieber is in hot water with his London fans.

According to the Daily Mail, Bieber was two hours late for a performance at London’s O2 Arena last night, forcing hundreds of Beliebers to leave before the singer even made it to the stage.

The “Beauty and a Beat” singer was then taken to task on Twitter, with one irate fan slamming his “disgusting behaviour”.

Bieber’s Monday night concert was a sell-out show, with many of the fans under the age of 16. Yet, despite it being a school night, the star didn’t take to the stage until 10:35pm – a mwere 25 minutes before he was originally scheduled to finish the show.

After sitting through two warm-up acts – Jaden Smith and Carly Rae Jepson – fans started booing as they waited for 45 minutes for Bieber to start performing.

“It's disgraceful, so many children were distressed and left heartbroken they had to leave the show. Many had been looking forward to seeing Justin for weeks,” one fan told the Daily Mail.

An irate parent told TV reporters: “We were all fans, and now we hate him.”

Many parents were demanding a refunds after being forced to leave without setting eyes on the main attraction. Tickets for the events cost between R780 and R930.

According to reports from within the arena, a number of Bieber’s younger fans had already fallen asleep before Bieber turned up. When the star finally started his show, he cut the performance short by 30 minutes.

Later that evening, the official account for the O2 tweeted: “Justin Bieber is now on stage and apologises for the lateness of his show.” Bieber himself said nothing about his late appearance.
