Justin Bieber says he needs to “step up and own” his actions after a second video of him uttering a racist slur emerged.

The 20-year-old pop star has apologised profusely in the aftermath of his N-word shame, admitting he needs to “take responsibility” for new footage - filmed when he was 14 - of him joking about killing a “n*****” and joining race-hate group, the Ku Klux Klan.

He told The Sun newspaper: “At the end of the day I just need to step up and own what I did.

“Facing my mistakes from years ago has been one of the hardest things I've ever dealt with.

“But I feel now that I need to take responsibility for those mistakes and not let them linger.”

In the clip, Justin alters the lyrics to his 2009 song 'One Less Lonely Girl' by singing, “One less lonely n*****”.

The star's latest apology comes just days after he was forced to say sorry when another video of him telling a racist joke was published online.

Justin, who has retreated to a private resort in Mexico's Playa del Carmen as he tries to regroup following the race row, insists he doesn't condone racist language and doesn't wish to be a bad influence on his millions of young, impressionable fans - whom he calls his 'Beliebers'.

He pleaded: “I just hope that the next 14-year-old kid who doesn't understand the power of these words does not make the same mistakes I made years ago.”

The 'Boyfriend' singer added: “Once again, I am sorry for all those I have let down and offended.” – Bang Showbiz
