Asked by schoolchildren what music he listened to, Prince William replied: ‘I really like Coldplay, Linkin Park.’ But he declined a request by pupils in a samba band to join them and play a drum.
William spent more than an hour at Goole High School, East Yorkshire, where he launched a new award for primary pupils as royal patron of the charity SkillForce, which draws on the values and skills of ex-forces personnel to inspire young people.
