“CSI” star Gary Dourdan was cut down to size by a US judge for violating a protective order in the domestic violence case.
Dourdan’s ex-girlfriend had reportedly obtained a restraining order against the actor after he allegedly broke her nose in 2010, according to TMZ.com.
Dourdan had appeared in court to reschedule a preliminary hearing.
The actor’s misstep was texting his ex-girlfriend during the festive season. He had sent the message to wish his former flame a Merry Christmas on December 24th, reports TMZ.
The actor was warned that he would be remanded into custody if he contacted the complainant again.
He's due back in court February 15.
