Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s divorce has stalled over money.
The former couple called time on their marriage in November 2011 but Ashton only filed divorce papers on Friday December 21 and reports suggest they cannot agree on a settlement.
A source told gossip website TMZ: “The sticking point in the divorce has been that Demi wanted the same type of settlement from Ashton that she got from [her former husband] Bruce Willis.”
While the details of Bruce and Demi’s settlement have never been made public, it is believed the 50-year-old actress’ share was extremely generous.
According to the documents filed in Los Angeles, Ashton, 34, has cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split and is not seeking spousal support.
The divorce papers suggest that their property rights will be worked out later.
Ashton and Demi, who were married in September 2005, have no children together but he is reportedly still close with her three daughters Rumer, 24, Scout, 21, and Tallulah, 18.
He is currently dating ‘Ted’ star Mila Kunis, who he first met when they co-starred on sitcom ‘That 70s show’. - Bang Showbiz
