The house hunters assist a Korean mom to settle in with her family with as little trouble as possible. Where are these guys when we need them?


• Midwives, BBC Knowledge, 21.00

At Saint Mary’s Hospital in Manchester, it’s midwife Ann’s job to look after Carren and Barry, whose baby hasn’t been moving. They have returned to the hospital to give birth after losing a newborn a year ago. Mean-while, things are tough for the trainees as they start the three-year journey to become a midwife. Chloe, 18, has just left school, but soon she’s “catching” her first baby after a caesarean section. From complicated pregnancies to checking up on mom 10 days after delivery, this series is a look into the pressures placed on midwives as they look after women at their most vulnerable.
