Brigitte Jenner. That’s what Hollywood insiders claim Bruce Jenner wants to be known as once he undergoes gender reassignment.
An explosive report in the National Enquirer magazine claims that the former Olympic champion is obsessed with Frech sex symbol Brigitte Bardot and plans to have a sex change.
“He loves Brigitte, not only because it's such a beautiful name, but it makes him think of Brigitte Bardot, who was a total bombshell,” said a source.
“She also starred in [the 1956 movie] And God Created Woman - and Bruce thinks it's just perfect since he's in the process of becoming a woman.”
Jenner’s estranged wife Kris, the 58-year-old Kardashian “momager”, rubbished the claims when approached by Entertainment Tonight after Bruce had been spotted with a glamourous manicure.
“Ninety-nine percent of the stuff in the tabloids is made up,” she said.
“I think when he gets his nails buffed they put clear nail polish on him. The bottom line is, we [the Kardashians] sell magazines.”
Bruce Jenner was spotted leaving a Beverly Hills plastic surgery clinic last week, having undergone a procedure to flatten his Adam’s apple. Photographs captured Jenner leaving the surgery sporting a rather effeminate hair-do. The surgery is typically done on patients who are in the first stage of gender reassignment, but Jenner is reported to have denied that it is the reason he wanted the procedure, saying: "I just never liked my trachea."
In December last year, gossip site TMZ reported that Jenner had cancelled surgery scheduled for that month because the news had leaked.
“Jenner had two consultations with the doctor and had scheduled surgery for both a Laryngeal Shave (Adam's Apple flattening) and a nose job,” claimed TMZ.
“The operation reduces the size of the cartilage in the neck and is typically performed on patients in the initial stages of gender reassignment surgery.”
Jenner claimed the reason he had consulted a surgeon was because of a large scar on his nose after a cancerous growth was removed in September last year.
According to RadarOnline, Jenner’s sons Brody and Brandon aren’t fazed by the rumours about their father, and blame Kris for his visits to the plastic surgeon.
“The boys don’t think their father is trying to become a woman and simply laugh at rumors,” said a source.
“They do believe that Bruce became more conscience of his physical appearance and how he looked after Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered. They blame their step-mother (Kris) for all of the plastic surgery he has had over the years.
“Kris always encouraged Bruce to have his face nipped and tucked. He has had plastic surgery to remove excess fat above his eyelids. The Adam’s apple surgery is just following in that pattern.” - Tonight Reporter
