Obviously fans did not get enough of the Josie Field and Laurie Levine tour held late last year. The singer/songwriters have had to cut their holiday short to return for more shows due to popular demand.
After doing an incredible nine shows in eight weeks, in the Side by Side tour, it is obvious some fans missed out so this show is for them. Then there are the hard-core fans who probably went to all nine gigs last year. They’ll be in attendance because they would have suffered withdrawal symptoms since last year and will need the live shows to get their fix.
This show will focus mainly on blues with hints of rock, and the music will be of a high quality.
Expect a variety of instruments ranging from guitars to banjos, providing a rare sound. This is a tried and tested formula for a show to remember so get your ticket and see what the two ladies have to offer. – Munya Vomo
