Becca Tobin has thanked her fans for their “love and support” following her boyfriend's sudden death.

The Glee actress has spoken publicly for the first time since her beau Matt Bendik was found dead in his hotel room at Philadelphia's Hotel Monaco last month.

She posted a picture of her cuddling up to Matt on her Instagram account on Saturday, which she accompanied with the caption: “Thank you all for he love and support. Matt was the most extraordinary man I knew and he will live in my heart forever.”

Matt's cause of death is currently unknown, but an incident report taken by a detective at the scene stated no drugs, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, medication or weapons were located in his hotel room, and his body did not appear to have suffered any physical harm.

Becca - who plays Kitty Wilde in the musical TV series - had joined her beau on the business trip, but it is currently unclear where she was when the 35-year-old nightclub owner's body was found by a maid.

Matt's death happened just before the first anniversary of Cory Monteith's death, who died from a heroin and alcohol overdose in Vancouver, Canada, last June.

Matt ran several major clubs around the US and was Director of Operations at DBA Nightclub in Los Angeles.

The nightspot posted a tribute to Matt outside the venue following his death, with a board reading: “We love you Matt.” - Bang Showbiz
