Jason Isaacs thinks the end of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is a “fitting climax to a 10-year adventure”.

The 48-year-old actor – who plays villainous Lucius Malfoy in the wizard franchise – thinks while coming up with an appropriate ending was a “mammoth task”, there wasn’t one part of the filming that wasn’t “unadulterated pleasure” from his perspective.

He told Bang Showbiz: “It's a fitting climax to a 10-year adventure. It's hard enough to come up with the last 20 minutes of any film but to come up with a two-hour ending after 10 years of films is a mammoth task and they really pulled it off.

“I'm very sentimental so I was already looking back from the first day of filming. But I loved the whole ten year experience. From the first day that I walked into the studio in 2002 to driving away in the car, rather sadly, in 2009, there wasn't a minute that wasn't unadulterated pleasure.”

However, Jason admitted he could never get to grips with his alter-ego’s wig, which he eventually tried to steal from the set.

Speaking at the world premiere of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in London’s Trafalgar Square on Thursday night, he added: “The wig was annoying because I ate it half the time. “It meant when they said action I would tilt my head back to get it out of my mouth and it looked like I was looking down my nose at people, and suddenly the character was there!

“I tried to take something from the set every day but I wasn't allowed to. I wanted to keep the wig, I asked but I never got it!”

Also in attendance at the premiere were Harry Potter trio Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, as well as US Vogue editor Anna Wintour, British boy bands McFly and The Wanted and actor Nicholas Hoult. - Bang Showbiz
