Jack Black didn’t buy his 'Kung Fu Panda 2' co-star Angelina Jolie a birthday present.
The comedy actor has been busy travelling the world promoting the animated sequel with the actress but he forgot to get her something for her 36th birthday – which she celebrated on June 4.
Speaking at the film's UK premiere at the Westfield London shopping centre on Sunday, June 05, 2011, Jack told BANG Showbiz: “I didn't get Angelina anything yesterday – but I could probably just make her a homemade card. I find cards are the best gifts. They're the most special.
“I really should have made her something, actually … maybe something origami? She would appreciate that.”
Jack also revealed his two sons five-year-old Samuel and three-year-old Thomas – his children with fiancee Tanya Haden – are fans of his animated alter-ego Po, the kung-fu master panda, but don’t have the attention spans to sit through either of the films.
He said: “They don't really have the attention span for a full-length feature, but they love the characters.
“They're back in Los Angeles today though – they can't deal with the jet-lag. To be honest, neither can I – the boys know daddy needs his beauty sleep!”
Other stars to attend the premiere included director Jennifer Yuh Nelson and former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens. - Bang Showbiz
