Kenny Kunene
The rumour mill has it that “Sushi King” Kenny Kunene is broke. He’s been forced to shut down his nightclub in Sandton, his reality show is set to be cancelled and the 41-year-old has even been forced to sell his prized black Lamborghini.
So what does he have to say? “Me broke? That’s rubbish. I still drive the very best cars, still wear the most expensive clothes and always dine at the very best restaurants,” he said. “You get cheap journalists who try to sensationalise stories so they can sell newspapers; they’re a disgrace to their industry.”
Kunene was responding to claims last weekend that he could not afford to keep his ZAR club in Joburg running. Kunene and his business partner, Gayton McKenzie, are now searching for an alternative venue. “We are relocating from the Radisson because they said they want to extend the hotel,” said Kunene. He said he had splashed out R20 million on renovations.
“I spent lots of money on the project, leasing it and furnishing it, only to be kicked out? I don’t think so.”
Speculation about Kunene being broke was further fuelled after his Lamborghini was put on sale for R2.6m.
“I have always planned to sell my Lamborghini to a good friend of mine. I bought it with cash so how can the bank repossess my car?” -Saturday Star

Hope SARS picked up on the cash transaction! Why would anyone have over 2 million in cash?

who cares about this baffoon. It's people like him who gives SA a bad name. While people are starving, he's living it up. He's an embarrasment! Why does he even have a reality TV show? I would never watch it.
