Charlie Sheen wanted to go into a “barbecue coma” at a New York restaurant.

The troubled actor paid a visit to Southern Hospitality in Hell’s Kitchen after his stage show ‘Violent Torpedo of Truth’ at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday night (10.04.11) and revealed he was extremely keen to eat a large portion of flame-grilled food.

He told onlookers: “I want to go into a barbecue coma.”

Guest stars from the weekend show, including James Lipton and Darryl Strawberry, also visited the restaurant, staying until 2.30am.

As well as his barbecue feast, Charlie celebrated the end of his tour in the early hours of this morning (12.04.11) by indulging in some other favourite food treats, dining on lobster and donuts.

He tweeted: “Epic farewell dinner @ City Island Lobster House The Bronx rocks! Thank you Chuck Zito & Jojo Mandarino... And Thank you New York! winning

“2:30 am Dunkin' Donuts Nothing better..!! Debate me! 3:45 am. Pelham A Warlock. A Goddess. Chuck Zito. @ CZ's Street Survival School - Omni Sports & Fitness! (sic)”

The actor later hinted he had got a tattoo after posting a cryptic caption alongside a picture of himself posing with a snake.

He wrote: “4:30 am White Plains Big Joe & Sons Tattoo opens early. only Lilly knows if any ink was applied permanently (sic)” - Bang Showbiz
