The swish Rand Club in Newtown was the place to be last night. Brutal Fruit threw a party of note with Kim and Khloe Kardashian as the drawcards to launch the latest addition to their brand - Cheeky Cranberry. Of course, the pink coloured drink was in abundance all around the venue. All the guests were dressed in their finest threads and also wore a splash of pink. The venue itself was decked out in colours complementing the drink with balloons covering the ceilings.
With the music blaring and the guests talking up a storm, the excitement to see the Keeping up with the Kardashians reality stars was palpable.
Just before 9pm, Bonang Matheba, wearing a micro-mini black number that accentuated her long legs, got everyone to make their way to the entrance, where Kim and Khloe were to congratulate the winner of an A3 Cabriolet.
Dressed in designer dresses and stilettos, the sisters looked cover perfect. Khloe was more the outspoken and extroverted of the two while the bootylicious Kim was more reserved – but graceful and pleasant nonetheless. And she has the most gorgeous tan.
As Kim and Khloe made their way into the Rand Club, the fans in the crowd swooped in for an autograph in their recently-purchased Kardashian Konfidential books. Khloe was most obliging, although the security got a big edgy.
Once inside the Club, the sisters were escorted to a cordoned off area on the dance floor. While Kim and Khloe made small talk and shared a few laughs, the fans surrounded them and continuously snapped pics on their cellphone. Some of them also tried to sneak in and get a closer pic of the sisters but they were promptly thrown out of the VIP area by security.
All in all, it was a happening party – even if the new Brutal Fruit flavour tasted vile. And tenacious fans got autographs and personal pictures with the celebrities. - Tonight
