Cameron Diaz is “really happy” with Benji Madden.
The 41-year-old actress has only been dating the Good Charlotte rocker for a few weeks and, although she's ready to settle down with someone in the near future, she doesn't want to rush her new blossoming relationship.
A source told PEOPLE.com: “She's at a point in her life where she would love to settle down, but for now with Benji it's about beinghappy and taking things as they come. She's happy ... really happy.” The couple went public with their romance on Tuesday (03.06.14) when they were spotted walking hand-in-hand around New York City, but the initial spark between the pair took the blonde beauty by surprise.
The source explained: “The relationship sort of hit Cameron out of nowhere. She's always been open-minded when it comes to men. She just wants to have something in common with them and find a personality that loves life and loves as hard as she does.”
Benji, 35, has enjoyed a string of romances with famous blondes over the years, including Nicole Richie's former best friend Paris Hilton, Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend Holly Madison and Australian model Sophie Monk.
