Jennifer Hudson bought her personal assistant a house for Christmas.
The 'Spotlight' singer surprised her “closest friend” and long-time aide Walter Williams with a house of his very own to show appreciation for his support over the years.
Jennifer shared his shocked reaction in a video posted to her Instagram page with the caption: “My assistant Walter's reaction when he found out I was buying him a house for Christmas!”
The video sees the actress standing beside her assistant and pals in what appears to be her living room before breaking the news by presenting him with the deeds papers to his property.
Overwhelmed by the good news, Walter is seen screaming in disbelief before adding: “What? Wow!”
The 'Dreamgirls' star later followed up her video by posting a picture of her and her assistant celebrating by playing in the snow, as she wrote: “He dumped me in the snow y'all! That damn Walter!! (sic)”
Jennifer has known Walter since they were young classmates in school and he supported her as she grieved the loss of her mother, brother and uncle, who were brutally murdered in 2008.
The 32-year-old singer also credited her long-time pal with encouraging her to pursue her music career.
