International singer Katy Perry, who thrilled the Chennai audience at the inaugural function of the Indian Premier League (IPL), seems to have impressed Kollywood.
It has been reported the 27-year-old will be offered a special number in an upcoming Tamil film. The grapevine is abuzz with the news that Katy will be signed for a hip-hop song in the movie Karuppampatti. If things goes according to plan, she will dance to the track Naughty Raja Raja written by Kabilan, crooned by Bappi Lahiri and composed by Kannan.
It is said to be a stage song with thousands cheering for the singer. Other details are yet to be revealed. The upcoming Tamil film is directed by Prabhu Raja Chozhan and stars Ajmal Ameer-Aparna Bajpai in the lead. – Oneindia.in
