Controversial South African socialite Khanyisile Mbau is planning a tell-all book is which she promises to expose “big names” in entertainment and politics. This literary effort will detail her life story and will be written by gossip and entertainment journalist Lesley Mofokeng.
“I’m no angel,” said Mbau in an interview with City Press.
“I’ve done things and portrayed my life in certain ways. The media has sold me as this iron woman who is spoilt and does not care, and I’m partly to blame for that. I’ve thrown tantrums on set, then went on to party too hard, then dated old men and let all my shenanigans be recorded.
“That’s how I sold my life, and it hurt to read the things written about me, but I’m owning it and taking responsibility.”
Mbau plans to release her book on Women’s Day, dedicating her biography to all the strong women who, like her, have survived an abusive relationship. For the most part however, it seems Mbau is hoping her tell-all will force people to take her seriously.
"It's time for me to close the gold-digger chapter in my life and put things in perspective.
“I know there are people who’ve been wondering how a child with no brains, no education, has managed to stay relevant. Khanyi Mbau is a brand, a public figure. I have a magic formula.”

first of all no one is perfect, we all makes mistakes. its only that Khanyi is a celebrity that is why people comments wrongly about her. no one is god, only him can judge Khanyi.

Agreed with Brian, too many haters here. If you don't like what she does, fine, but it's no reason to hate her. @anonymous 12:43, damn right most of the haters would love to be seen with her, or bed her, but they can't, so they hate instead.

i thought influential people or a person with a good story to tell can write a book. what is Khanyi telling us, that she is a tramp, gold digger who use men for money.. only fools will buy this book.

@ Anonymous, you think Khanyi is hot??? She is an average Soweto with nothing special about the way she looks even with her imported fake hair. There are really hot Soweto girls out there who make Khanyi look decidedly ugly some of whom are spotting nothin but i-cheeskop or a modest s-curl. The moment someone goes for plastic surgery then you know they are insecure.

I only know her name because she is constantly in the news. But what has this girl actually done for society? Really, shot feeding us trash, surely there are more newsworthy stories out there!

I'm sorry little girl. I always looked at you and my heart was filled with pain. I wonder what a lost and hopeless life you are leading. You are still very young and you should be thinking about going to school get a good qualification and work for yourselve. You really do not need the millions or be in public. It all leads to emptiness. Come on make peace with yourselve and start afresh. Have you ever wondered how you'd be like when you reach 30 with this kind of life style. I wouldn't want to look at you. already you are fading away in a mist of your own sins and greed. Why do you like so much to be on stage.
