It’s been reported that there was some animosity in the air when Aishwarya Rai attended Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s dinner party thrown for UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon.
It happened at the grand power dinner hosted by Neeta Ambani at Antilla. A leading Indian press reporter reported that Rai and Karisma Kapoor were about to clash with each other at the common entrance of Antilla.
It is a known fact that Kapoor is Abhishek Bachchan’s ex-fiancé so it is natural that Rai facing her husband’s ex-lady love would have obviously stirred some tension.
Though both ladies had a face off at the entrance, creating an awkward scene, actress Raveena Tandon intervened, avoiding embarrassment.
Reports suggest that Tandon, along with her husband Anil Thadani, walked into the frame and greeted Rai with a hug, which averted the big face off. – Oneindia.in
