The Kollywood grapevine is abuzz with news that Prabhu’s son, Vikram Prabhu, and the Ko girls, Karthika and Piaa Bajpai will come together for a film. The movie is touted to be produced by Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s home banner, Ghilli Films.

The movie is a remake of Captain Vijaykanth’s Sattam Oru Iruttarai, a 1981 hit. The original was directed by Vijay’s father, SA Chandrasekhar. The remake will be helmed by Ramesh. Meena has been approached for a pivotal role.

Kumki will mark Vikram Prabhu’s foray into Tamil cinema as an actor.

Meanwhile, Karthika, who received critical acclaim for her performance in Ko, is busy with her Telugu project, Dammu, with Junior NTR and Trisha Krishnan, and Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum.
