Shahrukh Khan has once again landed in controversy. In a recent interview with Outlook Turning Points Magazine, he says he sometimes becomes an inadvertent object of political leaders.
To which Islamist terrorist organisation Lashkar-E-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed replied that Khan should move to Pakistan if he felt insecure in India.
Khan is said to be upset about Saeed’s offer. “I sometimes become the inadvertent object of political leaders who choose to make me a symbol of all that they think is wrong and unpatriotic about Muslims in India. I have been accused of bearing allegiance to our neighbouring nation rather than my own country,” said Khan.
Saeed said Khan was welcome in Pakistan and he could live there for as long as he wanted.
A source said: “Shahrukh had made the comments regarding his religion to point out how he remained fiercely patriotic to India with a disregard for those who wish to drag his identity as a Muslim in the way of him being loved by millions of fans.” – Oneindia.in
