Voluptuous Namitha has thrown her hat in the ring for Tamil version of The Dirty Picture.

The battle to bag the female lead began with her saying she wanted to star in the remake. Namitha wants to reprise the role of sex siren Silk Smitha, who was a sensation in the 1980s and ’90s and had a large fan following.

The actress is even willing to take a cut in pay to bag the role.

Trisha Krishnan, Anushka Shetty and others have already turned down the role. Nikita was approached, but nothing was finalised. – Oneindia.in
