PRIYANKA CHOPRA’S dream project, Madamji, which she was supposed to co-produce with director Madhur Bhandarkar, has been put on hold.
The project, which was scheduled to go on the floor in December, was postponed to this month. Now the film has come to a standstill.
Chopra was shooting for the US TV series Quantico and once she returned, moved on to do Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. She has also signed Reema Kagti’s Mr Chaloo.
Bhandarkar has also moved on to another project. A paper reported: “Priyanka and Madhur had a meeting and decided to put Madamji in cold storage. They are in agreement on the problems which have been plaguing the project since it was announced.” – Oneindia.in
