ARJUN KAPOOR, who was last seen in the movie Tevar, is likely to be seen as a cricketer in his next film.
Reports suggest that a film on the 1983 World Cup which was won by India, under the captaincy of Kapil Dev, is being planned for which Kapoor has been approached as the lead.
A source said: “Arjun has been approached. Vishnu Vardhan Induri, who is planning the project, has already met the actor with the script.”
It seems Arjun is likely to say ‘yes’ to the film. The 1983 World Cup final was played between India and the West Indies and Dev played a magical knock, leading India to victory.
