DIRECTOR AR Murugadoss has been accused of stealing the story of Vijay’s film Kaththi and a case has been filed against the film-makers.
A person named Minjur recently filed a case against Murugadoss, claiming that the director plagiarised his story for his forthcoming movie, Mootha Kudi.
Munjir has requested that the court stop the making of Vijay’s film.
Responding to the petition, Murugadoss said he had not plagiarised the story and was not aware of Minjur.
He asked the court to dismiss the petition. The case has been adjourned until September 16.
Allegations of story theft also dogged a previous film by Murugadoss and Vijay, Thuppakki. But the director emerged clean. – Oneindia.in
