iol travel nov 17 twilight AP The little town of Forks has become an onvernight tourist hub thanks to the success of the Twlight franchise.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have done their first interview together since rekindling their romance.

The couple began promoting Breaking Dawn: Part II, the final instalment of the Twilight franchise, with two TV interviews.

They were joined by Taylor Lautner, with Stewart saying she was happy to be doing interviews with her co-stars again.

“For the last few press junkets, they've been separating everyone which is silly. I think because we love hanging out,“ she said.

The couple were spotted holding hands at a Halloween party hosted by Maroon 5 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Wednesday.

Stewart was dressed as Natalie Portman’s character in the movie ‘Closer’.

“yes, it looks awesome,“ she said eyeing the photograph of herself in a pink bobbed wig and sunglasses. “That's not fair. That's actually a really weird [photo].“

“If you've seen that, that's one aspect of [Portman's] character. She changes a lot in that movie, but that's one part, yeah.“

“That's not me,“ Pattinson joked, while eyeing the photograph of himself sporting a creepy mask. “I chose someone who is just genuinely terrifying. It was a $3 mask from a 7-Eleven.“

On getting hot and heavy with Stewart on screen, Pattinson said: “I'd imagine it's quite like the scene where she's doing the pottery in Ghost.“

Acccording to Bang Showbiz, Pattinson had previously admitted to finding the “PG” sex scenes in the film “pretty ridiculous”.

“You try and give a face of ecstasy; guys’ faces I don't think are really designed to do that," he added.

Pattinson also recalled the cool reception he received initially from fans of Stephenie Meyer’s hugely popular books, describing it as “unanimous unhappiness“.

“I think it's come full circle and they hate me again.“

Breaking Dawn: Part II will be released in the US on November 16. - IOL
