News of director Shankar’s teaming up with actor Ajith Kumar was sensational and fans of the two were thrilled to hear it.
But, it appears the film-maker has other plans. He will be joining hands with none other than superstar Rajinikanth again and not the Vaali star.
The director is busy with Vikram and Amy Jackson’s film Ai and after wrapping up the project, it was said he would move on to his next flick with Kumar.
The rumour mill alleged that the director had a perfect script for Kumar, who would work with the Anniyan creator for the first time.
It was an action-thriller script mainly written with Rajinikanth in mind.
The Tamil superstar had reportedly told Shankar that he could not take up the project, citing his other commitments. But it appears Rajini has decided to wrap up KS Ravikumar’s film quickly to start Shankar’s flick. – Oneindia.in
