Zee’s soap stars take to the stage

AFTER the great success of The Zee Heroes & Mamta Sharma Live in Concert earlier this year in Durban and Joburg, Showtime Promotions are set to host the hottest couple of Zee TV – Suhasi Goradia Dhami (Abha) and Karan V Grover (Karan).

The pair is famous for their roles in Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. They will be accompanied by the Sumit Vats (Rishi) from Hitler Didi and Asha Negi (Purvi) from Pavitra Rishta – the most popular Zee TV soap which has been running since June, 2009.

Female singing sensation Saberi Bhattacharya, who accompanied Udit Narayan on his tour to SA last year, will join the Zee Stars. She will be accompanied by Imran Aslam, with music by the Bollywood Showband.

The daily soaps have, over the years, become something of a phenomenon in SA on Zee TV.

The four stars from these soapies will perform on stage for the first time in Zee Stars Live In Concert. Shows are scheduled for September 7 at Durban City Hall at 8pm. Bookat Computicket, Maharaj’s Prayer Goods (031 500 4709), or Sunrise Fruiterers (031 207 2689).

The final show takes place on September 9 at Patidar Hall, Lenasia at 5.30pm. Book at Computicket. Tickets range from R120 to R500, with limited VIP seats.
