i speak both english and afrikaans obviously. afrikaans being the dumb downed language, also obviously. i see ive hit a nerve here with you crunchies wif your jean pants. die antwoord is a joke. ive heard interviews with them and when they open their mouth stupidity falls out. but thats ok in SA because you only have to look at the ruling party and the previous ruling party to understand the mentality. "we have the best women. we have the best weather. we have the best beaches. we have the best this and that." um, can anyone say narrow mindedness.

Are you serious man? Get your head out of your own a*s, Degrading people saying they are stupid or sound stupid. Because of the way they sound or accent may sound stupid to you! Please in future do not tell people you are a expat South African as you are probably giving us the lovely name South Africans are becoming known for. Arrogance. It is spineless English South African like you who make me Cringe to be a English South African. As English South Africans since 1910 we have never stood together as one for the good of anybody be it colour, creed or belief we always hung on the fence and meddled where we could to ensure that we were never persecuted as happened to many Africans. Please hand your SA passport into the nearest port and call yourself a Soutp*el you spineless grape!

Jeeez @Anthony maybe you should try and deal with your own inferiority issues. "cringe and disown being born in south africa"? Are you scared somebody will think you don't belong in the "more civilized society"? While you're at it, try to learn another language. Being fluent in only one is really a bit sad and it may give you an understanding of why people speak with accents when English is their second or third (or fourth!) language.

@Anthony... With my biggest Souf Afriken accent ...."We are so glad you left South Africa ....don't come back and visit - It is a better place without people like you" ...I don't like Die Antwoord but Viva la difference ...it's accepting each other which makes us a GREAT nation and close minded idiots like you can find like-minded people in Australia, NZ, Canada, USA or F*&ing Alaska for all we care... just stay the hell away from us...you are the one we are ashamed of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Good grief! Don't you people realize that it's a parody? Even though it's not to my taste you have to admit that the production quality is excellent. Die Antwoord are far more professional and original than the average South African musician.

What utter rubbish. I actually attended a liove performance of these clowns. The star of the show is really the mixer dude. "Yolandi" doesnt really sound like that at all, sadly. Her voice is in reality more like a 12 year old shouting tunelessly. Ah well, they appeal to the under-achievers and foul-mouthed malcontents who we'd rather have at home sitting on their vibracrete front walls, listening to this lot, than bothering us on the streets.

@anthony.... you are clearly not a proud south african and we are more than happy for you to never come back to OUR country. If you dont have a sense of humour and cant laugh at the stereotypes that are so common in SA then you dont belong in the rainbow nation!!! please dont return... we dont need your contribution to OUR great country....

There are such amazing bands in SA and this crap makes it on to Letterman? The show must be really desperate in that their ratings must be struggling...what is the show trying to achieve with this other than a very big confused laugh?

the best way to describe the act and the so-called music, is by means of a well-known 3 letter Afrikaans word that starts and ends with a "k" - there's your Antwoord

@Anthony at 2:53pm. I'm guessing that you haven't yet figured out that Die Antwoord are a parody act. Time to do some more research before making a t*t of yourself.

every time i hear or see this sorry excuse for musicians i cringe and disown being born in south africa. my god, you stupid south africans have really dipped into the idiot bucket to bring these unbelievably garbage style idiots that cant even talk properly. And heres the kicker, you seem to think its good. WAAHHHHHHHH.. as an expat - and a damn proud expat - i am ashamed to admit they are from the same country as i am. wif de jean pant and all.. do you have any idea that when you live in a more civilized society for longer than 10 years where english is spoken you realize how dumb an afrikaaner, especially a lower class afrikaaner sounds. its embarassing... and when you come back to visit and hear the south african accent you realize how backward you people really are. siestog
