Lisa Marie Presley has paid an emotional visit a new exhibit at her father's home.

The 44-year-old star took her three-year-old twins Harper and Finley to visit 'Elvis ... Through His Daughter's Eyes' in Graceland and she admits she was shocked when she first saw all of her childhood mementos on display.

She told People.com: "I walked in with my twins looked around and I gasped. I couldn't tell if I was going to laugh or cry.

"It was like that show 'This is Your Life' I walked in and there was my tiny little first record player, my first faux fur coat, the key to the golf cart my father had given me for my birthday that I probably hadn't seen in 35 years."

The singer admits she is grateful the exhibition was created by archivists as she would have likely lost all of the treasures.

She added: "I don't trust myself. If my head wasn't attached to my shoulders, I'd have lost it."

Lisa has also revealed her memories of times with her father, especially when he used to take her out when he shouldn't have.

She told 'Good Morning America's Cameron Mathison: "What I remember is him waking me up to do things. Like get in a golf cart and go take me for a ride in the middle of the night or in the wee hours of the morning or at some point when he shouldn't have been doing that.

"It was really special for me to get in the golf cart with him, be alone with him." - Bang Showbiz
