Jamie Dornan has become a father for the first time.
The '50 Shades of Grey' star's wife, Amelia Warner, has recently welcomed their first child, a boy, according to UsMagazine.com.
Jamie, 31, and Amelia - a singer who performs under the name Slow Moving Millie - told how they were expecting their first child in June, and she was spotted in September looking heavily pregnant.
Little else is known about the birth, including when it was and whether it was in England, where the couple live, Canada, where he is filming or Jamie's native Northern Ireland, where his father, Jim, and stepmother, Samina, are respected gynaecology and obstetrics consultants.
Samina gave Amelia her first pregnancy scan, and later confirmed the pregnancy.
She told Sunday Life newspaper: “Jim and I are delighted that our third grandchild is on the way. The early wellbeing scanning was a beautiful and emotional experience for all present.”
Jamie is playing the lead role of Christian Grey in the erotic fantasy film, adapted from E. L. James' book. He is appearing alongside Dakota Johnson in the movie, directed by Sam Taylor-Wood.
Jamie replaced Charlie Hunnam in the cast of the film, and was welcomed to the cast by E. L. in typical style, with her tweeting: “Stow your twitchy palms ladies... our man is here. Welcome to #TeamFifty @JamieDornan1 x (sic)”
